ISVIR 2026 - Abstract Submission General Instructions
  •     ➢ Abstract should be submitted only through online abstract submission system. Abstracts sent by email will not be considered.
  •     ➢ All abstracts must be submitted in English.
  •     ➢ The presenting author of an accepted abstract must register for and attend ISVIR 2026.
  •     ➢ It is the responsibility of the submitter to ensure that all authors listed agree with the submission.
  •     ➢ Submitting the same abstract under multiple categories will result in disqualification.
  •     ➢ If an abstract involves clinical or experimental research in humans or animals, or where required by law, approval from a competent ethics committee is mandatory.
  •     ➢ All received abstracts will undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Authors must ensure that names, affiliations, or identifiers are not included in the abstract body.
  •     ➢ Only scientific studies with appropriate statistical analysis will be considered for podium presentations.
  •     ➢ Notifications of acceptance or rejection will be sent by email from scientific@isvirindia.org. Please ensure the email ID provided is correct and that your mailbox accepts mails from this address.
  •     ➢ Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest / funding / industry sponsorship at the time of submission.

Abstract Preparation and submission:
  •     ➢ Abstracts must be submitted only through the online portal.
  •     ➢ Word Limit: 500 words (excluding title, subheadings, and image captions).
  •     ➢ Title: Typed in UPPER CASE.
  •     ➢ Use only standard abbreviations; do not include references, acknowledgments, graphics, or tables.
  •     ➢ Abstracts can be modified until the final submission deadline.
  •     ➢ Authors may upload up to 4 representative images per abstract (JPEG/PNG formats).

Special Guidelines for Innovation & Extreme IR Categories
  •     ➢ Abstracts must follow the same general guidelines and be submitted only through the online system.
  •     ➢ The top 5 abstracts from each category will be selected for podium presentations.
  •     ➢ Selected authors will be recognized as Faculty of ISVIR 2026.
  •     ➢ Abstracts rejected in these categories will not be considered for any other format.
  •     ➢ The Scientific Committee’s decision will be final.
  •     ➢ Selected authors must present their work in a dedicated session; details will be communicated via email.

Oral Presentation Guidelines
  •     ➢ Oral Presentations: 6 minutes + 2 minutes Q&A
  •     ➢ The presenting author must be registered for the conference and be present during the session. If you are unable to attend, a registered co-author may present with prior intimation to the organisers (latest by 31 December 2025).
  •     ➢ Changes in author sequence or addition/removal of co-authors will not be permitted.
  •     ➢ Presentation format: MS PowerPoint / Apple Keynote, 16:9 ratio. A conference slide template will be shared separately and must be used.
  •     ➢ Allocated time: 6 minutes presentation + 2 minutes discussion. Please plan your slides accordingly (approx. 6 slides).
  •     ➢ Upload your final presentation by 31 December 2025 and also carry a backup on a USB drive.
  •     ➢ Selected podium abstracts will be considered for publication in a supplement of JCIR (details to follow).
