The Indian society of Vascular & interventional Radiology is a renowned organization in the academic arena. With its commitment towards patient welfare, it is actively engaged in various public awareness programs.

Philately (a division of India post) is a creative platform for a said organization to be known to people in a different way. The First day covers (envelopes) and commemorative stamps or the special covers (envelopes) are released by the Philately division on special occasions of the said organization to put it forth in the public realm.

ISVIR decided to join this league by releasing a special cover on the occasion of its 25th annual conference in February 2025 held at Kochi. The special cover depicts a female & male interventionist performing a procedure in the cath lab - as depicted by the table & the screen- which is the work arena of an interventionist. The lower panel has representative hardware used in interventional procedures. The special cover with a stamp affixed to it when cancelled with a seal of ISVIR is a collector's item. The envelopes otherwise may be used for sending documents over.

The cover is available with ISVIR office for purchase and then either collection or perusal.
